In modern manufacturing, data is abundant — but actionable insights are not. Inside the Machine’s Mind is an intelligent maintenance platform that bridges that gap using GenAI, IoT, and AWS-native technologies.

This system combines IoT telemetry, vectorized machine documentation, and a maintenance-aware GenAI agent to deliver real-time predictive insights directly to factory workers.

Sensor Data Collection via Raspberry Pi: Each factory machine is outfitted with a Raspberry Pi collecting live telemetry (temperature, vibration, voltage), which is streamed securely via AWS IoT Core.

Bedrock Maintenance Agent: The data flows into a GenAI agent in AWS Bedrock, which interprets conditions and queries a knowledge base for guidance.

Vectorized Knowledge Base: All machine manuals are embedded using Amazon Titan and indexed in a Bedrock knowledge base. This enables document-grounded analysis and sourcing in responses.

Streamlit Chatbot Interface: Factory workers ask questions like “How’s Machine A doing?” and receive contextual analysis, potential failure alerts, and maintenance recommendations — with citations from the actual manual.
